“Star Patched” by Pat Welch of Pewaukee, WI. Pat won a Blue Ribbon at “It’s A Stitch Quilt Show” in West Bend, Wisconsin. The quilt was made using blue and yellow fat quarters. Pat laundered the finished quilt in hot water, then dried it to give it an old fashioned look. (from the book "Lessons From Mama") |

I made my sister-in-law, Lynne, the Picnic by the Falls quilt from the 9 Patch Reunion book for Christmas and she loved it. Lynne is the lady in red and my daughter is the young lady in blue. This is Christmas night. Thanks for a great book.

This is my first quilt----I so enjoyed making it! It is a queen size quilt, quilted by hand. My daughters have bright green bedroom walls---and the quilt was designed to match the walls.
